Latin America's solar and storage market is growing fast, but it comes with real engineering demands. Split-phase grids are the major regional standard, heat and humidity run high, power supply can be inconsistent, and businesses face constant pressure to cut electricity costs. SOSEN designed this year's lineup around those conditions, aiming for storage solutions that are dependable and cost-effective for both homes and businesses.
Built for the 120V/208V/240V grids common across Latin America, this hybrid solar inverter targets home and villa energy storage projects. It delivers up to 15kW of charge and discharge power, supports solar oversizing up to 22.5kW, and handles a maximum charge current of 275A. Grid switching takes as little as 5ms, keeping critical loads powered without interruption. Up to six units run in parallel, three can form a three-phase system, and AC coupling lets homeowners add battery storage to existing solar panels without replacing them.
Designed for rural households and farms with no grid access or an unreliable one, this off-grid inverter includes a built-in MPPT solar controller with input up to 500V. It can power loads with sufficient PV without a battery. Voltage regulation, overload protection, and short-circuit protection are all built in, so the system holds up in remote conditions where support isn't nearby, a common need across rural Latin America.
For factories, retail sites, and industrial parks, this three-phase hybrid inverter supports up to eight units in parallel. It features four independent MPPT channels, dual high-voltage battery input, and a maximum charge and discharge current of 200A. Black start, off-grid operation, and generator integration are all supported, with remote monitoring to catch issues before they cause downtime. IP66 protection suits Brazil's outdoor conditions, cutting energy costs through peak shaving and keeping operations running during outages.
