Shanghai, China | June 3-5, 2026
SOSEN made a strong showing at SNEC PV+ 2026, one of the world's leading solar and energy storage trade shows held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Exhibiting at Booth 7.1H-F656, the SOSEN brought its complete range of energy storage inverters to the global stage, highlighted by the world premiere of its next-generation 150kW outdoor commercial and industrial (C&I) hybrid inverter. The three-day event drew a steady stream of international installers, distributors, and project developers to the SOSEN booth, with on-site negotiations yielding multiple partnership agreements.
SOSEN presented a comprehensive portfolio of residential and small- to mid-sized commercial energy storage inverters, spanning a wide power range to meet diverse grid standards and application needs worldwide.
On the residential side, the 8-15kW UL-certified hybrid inverter series stood out as a flagship product for the American market. Having passed rigorous safety and grid interconnection standards, it holds CSA certification, one of the few products in its class to do so. It is optimized for home self-consumption and backup power applications in North America. Complementing this, SOSEN also introduced new residential models, including 8-10kW single-phase low-voltage, 20-30kW three-phase high-voltage, and 12kW single-phase high-frequency off-grid inverters, rounding out its residential lineup to serve varied national grid requirements.
For commercial applications, the existing 20-70kW C&I inverter range drew significant interest. Field-proven across projects in the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas, these models have established a track record for reliability and cost-effectiveness in commercial-scale deployments.
The centerpiece of SOSEN's SNEC 2026 participation was the official launch of its 150kW outdoor C&I hybrid inverter on June 4. R&D Director Cheng Qin presented an in-depth breakdown of the product, covering its design rationale, core technologies, and highlights.
Designed specifically for the European commercial market's prevalent 160kVA distribution environment, the new inverter addresses common pain points in current C&I storage deployments. Key features include:
SiC and magnetic integration technology for higher efficiency and a 30% reduction in overall unit weight compared to conventional designs.
Dual 200A high-current battery ports supporting large-capacity battery cells from multiple brands.
IP66-rated enclosure for full outdoor deployment capability, with comprehensive multi-layer protection built in.
The product represents an evolution from simply functional to economically durable and operationally efficient, with a focus on reducing the total cost of ownership for C&I energy storage projects.
Alongside the product launch, SOSEN's overseas technical lead, Kerik Wu, presented a case study from a large-scale garment factory project in Myanmar, developed in partnership with local distributor CTE. The installation features eight 60kW C&I inverters forming a 480kW/800kWh solar-storage-diesel hybrid microgrid, built to tackle chronic challenges including grid instability, frequent power outages, and high diesel fuel costs.
Leveraging wide voltage tolerance, millisecond-level power switching, and strong inductive-load driving capability, the system brought the factory's production uptime to 99%, cut total energy costs by 40%, and reduced equipment maintenance costs by 50%. The project serves as a proven reference for energy storage deployment in weak-grid industrial environments across Southeast Asia.
Throughout the three days, the SOSEN booth attracted a continuous flow of solar and storage professionals from across the world. Sales and technical engineers engaged visitors with application-specific product guidance tailored to local grid conditions and project scale. Several partners confirmed sample orders and regional distribution agreements on the spot, making SNEC 2026 one of SOSEN's most productive exhibition appearances to date.
With SNEC 2026 concluded, SOSEN Innovation continues to build on its foundation in global energy storage markets. Grounded in its focus on professional inverter R&D and manufacturing, the company is committed to advancing its product technology while delivering high-reliability, cost-effective inverter solutions that support the growth of clean energy and new energy storage worldwide.
